Use Alibaba Cloud Model Studio models in ZCode.

Quick Start

    Get an API key

    Get the API key for your billing plan:

    Add a provider

    In ZCode, open model settings, add a provider at the bottom of the provider list, and enter a custom name.

    Select the protocol and Base URL

    ZCode supports the Anthropic and OpenAI protocols. Do not append /chat/completions to the Base URL.

    Enter the API key

    Enter the API key for your billing plan.

    Enter the model and save

    Enter the model ID for your billing plan, turn on the enable switch, and save:

    Verify

    Select the model you added in ZCode and send a test message. A model reply confirms the connection.

FAQ

The pay-as-you-go setup remains the same: use your general Model Studio API key and Base URL. After you purchase a savings plan, it takes effect automatically and eligible usage is deducted automatically. See Savings plans.
Confirm that you added the model, turned on the enable switch, and saved the configuration. Return to model settings and check that the provider and model entries are complete.
Confirm that the API key, Base URL, and model belong to the same plan. API keys for Token Plan, Coding Plan, and pay-as-you-go are not interchangeable. For pay-as-you-go, also confirm that {WorkspaceId} has been replaced with the Workspace ID for the correct region.
Check whether /chat/completions was appended to the Base URL. ZCode uses the Base URL without that path.
